Internet problem

Dear all
Pls help me.I have a pc with FC4.I am connected to internet through proxy server.But i cannot access yahoo,gmail mailing sites.I can access rediff and other sites.Same proxy setting is working very well in other client pcs having windows.Pls reply ASAP.

Check if your browser's proxy settins are correct.

Can you connect to the internet?

Check that the proxy settings are the same for all the connection options (HTTP, FTP...)

yes i can access internet except mail.yahoo.com , gmail.com and orkut.com.Other sites are open successfully.

Port 443 could be closed on the firewall.
If you sit behind a proxy it would perhaps make sense to disable iptables:

I'm no sure whether the iptables firewall boot script is called iptables or otherwise.
