internet connection modem problem..


hi,

having problem connecting to internet using dial up in kde. am using slackware 10.0 ...

maybe its because i'm dont know how to set up the modem.

the modem is showing as busy when I try to use the dial up program.
my question.. how do I set up the modem

am a newbie btw.

any help appreciated thnks

Hello, i ran into this problem myself. I had to download a driver package for my modem and then had to build a module for it, then install it, after that it worked like a champ. but i'm still having issues with dialing up... my session keeps timing out.. but my modem works fine now
