I am using SUSE 9.2. my internet works fine with dhcp but when I switch it to static it all of a sudden stops working. I am using the correct settings. I have 4 other computers working with static ips. I dont undertand what the problem is. I searched the forums and found a post where the guy told the person to change the route table if the default did not point to router. My default on my routing table has a Destination of 0.0.0.0 but points to the correct gateway. Also the genmask is 0.0.0.0.0 could this be the problem. when i try to change with route add deafault. Thanks in advance

'ifconfig -a'
and 'route'
using your static configuration.
