Question internet access through nat software on windows box

Just starting off with linux using suse 7.3 on a local network with 2 other windows boxes. I'm using winroute nat software on the internet access box. My problem: I can ping the networked boxes and internet addresses but cannot surf. In the browser I get the message "website found waiting for response".
To resolve this problem with the windows boxes I needed to match the MTU and RWIN settings for ADSL and then everything worked fine. I suppose the same will be true in the case of the suse box but I havent' the slightest idea how to do it.
Any help would be appreciated.

Found the info in the Suse knowledgebase where there are 2 articles dealing with DSL connections using PPPoE.
