Interconnect a Virtual machine in linux to Real machine in windows xp


i need to communicate whit my real machine windows xp from my virtual machine in centos 5.6 how can i configure my network service to can connect?

the same quetion :how connect 2 virtual machine :linux_>linx and linux _>windows xp?

You don't list many details about your environment, such as
which virtualization engine you're using or how your virtual
network was designed.

The easiest way to do this is to make sure your virtual
machine has a virtual network adapter on your real lan.

Many virtual machines have three ways to connect.

One is bridged. Both real and vm share the same nic.

Two is NAT. The VM has a virtual router that offeres a dhcp address to the client. Connect like any computer via router.

Three is vm to vm or local. Only vm can access other vm's so that doesn't apply to your situation.
