intercept TCP socket


Is there a way to send arbitrary data and receive response through an existing TCP socket created by another process, like the data seems to be sent by that process?

p.s. Sorry for my english, i'm not a native english speaker

Why would you want to do that in the first place? Please explain and as verbose as possible?
