OK. I'm running Mandrakelinux 10.0 on a Gateway 400VTX. Everything works great except for the ethernet card. It's an Intel(R) PRO/100 VE Network Connection (that's the name of it). I downloaded a driver for it but I have no clue how to install it. The install instructions is pulling stuff out of no where.

Now, my connection is funny from the start. I'm on a wireless network, BUT the reciever I use transfers the wireless signal into an ethernet cable, thus the ethernet connection. It works fine in WindowsXP... as a matter of fact I'm using it in XP right now. Please help!

Also, how do i get my touchpad to work?

- driver.tar.gz
- driver.src.rpm
- driver.i586.rpm

Then we can help you to install the driver.

Does the card show up in Drakconf/Harddrake?
