Intel 3B 2100 minipci not working in OpenSuse10.1
 

Hi, I new to the forums :)
I just installed OpenSuse 10.1 on my T40 thinkpad, but the built-in Intel 3B 2100 wireless card isn't starting properly :(

the /var/log/boot.msg reports:

Before, the driver, 80211 subsystem, and firmware were showing up in lsmod, but now they arnt for some reason, either way it didn't work tho.

The only place I see the card listed, it under yast. everything looks ok, but the card never shows up in ifconfig no matter what I do.

Can anyone help?

you will need to install the ipw2100 firmare and the ieee.
therefor take a look at: http://ipw2100.sourceforge.net/
