Integration LDAP / DNS

Hello experts,

The question is simple, but I think the answer is not...:D

Is there any way to integrate LDAP with DNS? What I mean is if there is any way to ask an LDAP server with the standard LDAP API and the LDAP server reverts to a DNS server if the requested information is not present in the database.

Thanks in advance,

Jordi

I guess, you want LDAP to be the backend of your DNS server. SO storing your zone information in LDAP. It should be possible, I have been trying to do this as well a couple of years back. Didn't succeeded back than as I was not experienced enough. You can find more information at http://bind9-ldap.bayour.com/.
