I have one machine running Red Hat Linux Enterprise 4.
My other machine on the network has Windows 2003 server running. These computers are on same network connected by Wireless router.
I want to install Red Hat Linux Enterprise on my Windows 2003 machine but CD Drive is not working properly so I cannot boot from Linux CD drive on windows machine.
I used the same CD to install Linux on other machine but windows machine is not recognizing CD.
My question is can I install Linux on window machine from Linux machine...if yes, how?
Do I need to copy all the CDs to Linux hard disk or is there anyway window machine can boot from linux machine's CD drive?
I do not get it, what is Systemimager? How can I boot my windows machine to install Linux? that is all I want to know. I tried to make bootable disk out of linux machine but when I booted from that disk, it says "Boot Failed".
Have you done some reading on the link I gave?
Does the box have the capability of network booting?
Do you have a floppy drive in the Windows box?
Why not just replace the cd drive as they are very cheap?
