Installing APACHE Server *ERRORS!!*

I just tried installing XAMPP, but I didn't like it. After uninstalling it (hopefully), the Apache server still thinks the default "http://localhost" page is at "/xampp/". Can anyone *please* tell me how to alter the default server page? Right now, I have a mock "/xampp" directory running so the server works, but I HATE it! I am running Fedora Core 6 with an Apache 2.2.3 (latest build) server running. Also has MySQL and DNS. Thanks in advance!

search for the apache.conf file and in that search for the line which says DocumentRoot /www/html/bla
it will have the path there, change that.

This is just an FYI but this site is for people that have questions and people that wanna answer them. It is not a forum for a product that has customer service that is required to help you. Just keep that in mind that you are asking for help from other people that are not employees that are supposed to take the complaints from the public. If your having a problem be polite with your questions and you might get better support.

I just wanted to post this to help people better understand the difference between corporate support and community support.

Thanks

I am not complaining, i am just asking for help, and stating the current state of my web server. I was polite, since someone gave me an answer that I have tried.
