Installing APACHE Server *ERRORS!!*
I just tried installing XAMPP, but I didn't like it. After uninstalling it (hopefully), the Apache server still thinks the default "http://localhost" page is at "/xampp/". Can anyone *please* tell me how to alter the default server page? Right now, I have a mock "/xampp" directory running so the server works, but I HATE it! I am running Fedora Core 6 with an Apache 2.2.3 (latest build) server running. Also has MySQL and DNS. Thanks in advance!

search for the apache.conf file and in that search for the line which says DocumentRoot /www/html/bla
it will have the path there, change that. |

I just wanted to post this to help people better understand the difference between corporate support and community support. Thanks |
