Installed Slackware 10.2 cannot get internet access


I have installed slakware 10.2
My system for internet is
Belkin 54 g modem router
mercury 10/100 fast ethernet pci card
lan cable between comp and router
router connected to adsl
(all works fine in Windows)
ifconfig gives all zeros
netconfig has been attempted
please help or I will have to go back to W.....

hello,
so there is not any issue with your NIC. Its working fine as indicated by the o/p of your ifconfig.

But i'm sorry, i don't have experience with modem routers. What i've at my end is an ADSL modem.
Hoping for someone else reply.
