ethernet card +insmod+kudzu = PROBLEM
 

hi

i have a "surecom"based ethernet card that need the module "fealnx.o" to work..this card is not detected by default by kudzu in redhat 8.0, but it is in redhat 9.0. when i try to do a manual "insmod fealnx.o" while running the openmosix-2.4.22 kernel in redhat 8.0 , i get a host of "unresolved symbol"s...but after some time sometimes teh module gets loaded by itself! but this does not happen always...

the redhat-config-network does not have a "surecom" card in its database
my queries are:

1. how do i make kudzu try and detect my ethernet card ??
2. how do i make sure that the module loads by itself at startup?
(the fealnx.o driver that came with the openmosix 2.4.22 kernel)

3. how the hell do i get my card to work normally??
