Imap file locations

Quicky here.

If i enable IMAP so i can start to configure Squirel mail where within my direcotry tree will my mail be stored? in /var/spool/mail/? still

i'm using RH9 at the moment but looking to change to Fedora probably.

I'm not sure what IMAP server they use?

Well it depends on your MTA and not IMAP... etc. If your using sendmail it will most likely be in the /var/spool/mqueue or mail directory there.. IMAP and POP are types of retrieval tools, not email delivery type tools..

And I'm guessing Fedora is probably using Courier-IMAP most likely.. but I'm not for certain on that one.

from a little research since my post i believe fedora 2 uses Dovecot.

Yeah i'll stick with Sendmail for now. hopefully it will all work with the normal config changes. otherwise i guess i'll be back here asking questions!
