IIS + Apache*

I have a slackware 9.1 machine and would like to install Apache 2.0.49 and IIS together. Neither are installed right now but I am prepared to use a previous Apache version. I just want Apache + IIS working for my slackware machine so I can start testing my project major coming up.

can IIS even run on Linux?

Yup. Basicly I want the Front Page 2002 Extentions installed.

I know it can be done. There are install guides for Red Hat for installing the extensions. I don't want Red Hat since it has WAY too many packages that I don't need. Slackware is the best for speed so I choose that.

You can't install IIS on Linux, because Microsoft has not ported it (nor are they likely to any time soon). You can use Frontpage extensions for Apache, though (although I would recommend it, since that module has had some security problems--well, so have mod_php, mod_perl, etc).

You want to look for mod_frontpage
