How do i setup Identd on my computer, i just cant find any good how-to's. I cant get on irc without installing it

Pretty good link I would say, has the download for it, the README file, the Changelog and even the man page on identd.. woohoo, what else could you ask for.

where did you find that information? I looked and looked and could not find anything helpful. I just want to be better able to find the solution for myself next time.

That really helped, got me up and running in no time. Although do you have any ideas on what the line would be for xinetd instead of inetd?
