I want to be ISP

I use RedHat9,
I've just configured squid.
I have wireless internet and my LAN already uses internet through the squid.
Now I want to provide internet through ppp connection to remote users.
I have a U.S. Robotic 56k faxmodem (I've used this modem for internet connection formerly).
It is possible to provide internet through this modem?
If it is possible, than how can I do this?

Making an ISP

hello

well you said that you already have an internet connection that you get from your lan,,,,now you have a USR modem.

ok now what you have to do is configure the modem by using KPPP make proper configurations for squid on your machine ,,,,,give your system IP to your clients and ask them to put it as a gateway address and proxy address for IE. or netscape

regards
