I need some routes

I am here because i am newbie

i have 2 nics to go out (internet conection) and 2 for the internal network (i am using masq).

i need route one machine of my private lan to use a gateway, i donīt know how, i canīt and donīt want update linux (i have redhat with kernel 2.2.16).

see this:

Destination Gateway Genmask Flags Metric Ref Use Iface U 0 0 0 eth2 U 0 0 0 eth0 U 0 0 0 eth1 U 0 0 0 lo UG 0 0 0 eth3 UG 1 0 0 eth2

i want Destination use as a default gw

and the other networks use as a default gw the

how i can do that? (kernel 2.2.16 with ipchains).

2.2...i have never used ipchains so instead of fudging up some rules,

here is a link to a howto ( i just did a google search, so you can google for
more help i guess, if no one else can help).

it looks pretty useful.

and right now, all of your gateways are set to, that cant be good.

dunno if they changed the route command from 2.2 -> 2.4 but here is an example:

route add -net netmask dev eth0

this make any packet going through your machine bound for an address in
the range of - to go out eth0

man route has more examples.
