i need a bandwidth monitor
 
do you know of a program that will monitor bandwidth and clearly tell me my upload rate and download rate?

ocassionaly my game server starts lagging and i want to see if it's my ISP or if something is draining me such as being hotlinked from

If not you should search on freshmeat and sourceforge there are many of those kinds of programs. In my opinion ntop is one of the better ones.

i use iptraf - text based program though but i think it gives accurate reading in real time.
