ok look somehow i lost control of my root under x windows in linux gnome on my mandrake 8.0 hda funny thing is i still have control of root under all 6 of my linux terminals on hda1 just when i get to the gnome log in screen i cant log in as root and when i try to use my root password under any control center requireing the root it accepts the password then i never get the window and when i log in under gnome under root it starts to pull up my desktop then poof im back to the log in screen im forced to log in under my user... aslo i cant seem to add anther user to gnome any help would be much apriacted btw does anyoen have any idea how to run windows appz in linux mandrake 8.0 gnome?
