HWMP ,802.11s and Wireless sensor networks

Hi

Last year i was working on a project which was centered around wireless mesh networking IEEE 802.11s and the default protocol HWMP.
This year i am working on wireless sensor networks and protocols like LEACH and SPIN.

I was wondering whether the default routing protocol for IEEE 802.11s can be used for wireless sensor networks.Is this possible??
Or would it not work because of energy constraints?

Thanks
Shanky

HWMP (-Mesh) : http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/tags/hwmp/

A new patch : hwmp_ns235.patch
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B7S...ew?usp=sharing

The ns-2.34 patch : ns-2.34_hwmp_rev282.patch.bz2
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B7S...ew?usp=sharing

A build example :
$ tar xvf ns-allinone-2.35_gcc482.tar.gz ( For all gcc/g++ -4.4.x .. 5.1.0 )
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B7S...ew?usp=sharing
$ cd ns-allinone-2.35/
$ patch -p0 < hwmp_ns235.patch
$ ./install
$ cd nam-1.15/
# make install && exit
$ cd ../ns-2.35/
$ cp ns ns235-hwmp
# make install
# cp ns235-hwmp /usr/local/bin/ && exit

Simulation : $ cd hwmp/
$ ns235-hwmp mesh_hwmp_example.tcl :
OK, files namout.nam 838.8kB, speed.tr 27B, tracefile.tr 708.3kB are created.

i work on smart grid, NAN part(neighborhood area network).
and default routing protocol for IEEE802.11s is HWMP.
I use NS2 and ur HWMP patch help me for implementing a hybrid wireless mesh network...(5*5 node).
Now i must send some packet from nodes to a aggregator to send some data from every node to 1 aggregator.
and i dont know how generate and send this packet

TNX for ur response
