Unhappy Hurry!! speed in network linux? Shared Memory and Pipes and Sockets

hi frends pls help me

Linux Programming Homework 1
Virtual Center of IUST

In this homework, we are going to evaluate the performance of difference IPC
mechanisms on Linux. So, suppose that two processes, namely P1 and P2 are
running. Transfer 50 megabytes of data between these two processes, using shared
memory, pipes and sockets each time. For each case, report the time needed and
finally conclude that which IPC mechanism is the fastest and which one is the
slowest in your experiment.
Fill the following table after doing your homework.
Quote:
Method:
Time Needed to transfer 50 MBs of data
Shared Memory ????
Pipes ?????
Sockets????

Please see the LQ Rules and Question Guidelines.

Do not post homework questions verbatim...we aren't going to do your schoolwork for you. If you show some effort and need clarification/guidance, we'll be happy to help, but asking for a handout isn't a good thing.
