Hi all, I have configured my PC as proxy server and it's working fine for all http requests but when I send https request, browser is throwing 443 error (i.e unable to connect ). And when I check the port using nmap, port 443 is open. Even I added rule for allowing 443 requests in iptables but still it is not working.
When I saw error log message it shows DNS lookup failure only for https requests.
What could be the problem and how to solve this ... Any Help...
We need some more information to see what could be wrong. First of all, what distro and version are you using, what proxy software are you using and what version and post your config for that setup (change any private information like public IP, users, passwords).
