HTTP tunneling

Hey i've a quick question, i downloaded httptunnel from http://www.nocrew.org/software/httptunnel.html and installed it but when i try to use it i get errors.

im trying to set it up so i can tunnel my IRC connections etc through my uni's http proxy. (it works on windows with httport and other programs.)

when i type htc -P student-ul.ie[:8080] (thats the name of the proxy server) i get an error saying "the destination of the tunnel must be specified", can anyone help or recommend a better program for tunneling connections in linux/Suse?

You must also specify a destination IP where a copy of the ths (server ) is running.
Ex:
htc -P proxy.corp.com:80 -F 22 server.test.com:80

Yea, but since there is no way for me to get a copy on the server i think i'll have to try something else.

Are there any good http tunneling programs for linux that can just tunnel my IRC/MSN etc connections through a proxy?
