HP Web Jetadmin problem accessing
Good Day.
I have just downloaded a 45.3MB of file which is the HP Web Jetadmin 8.0. After installing it to SUSE Linux 9.3 and SLES 9.3 and then typing 192.18.1.25:8000 at the browser i got this error below.
An error occurred while loading http://192.168.1.25:8000/:[/url]
Could not connect to host 192.168.1.25 (port 8000).
I am using Konqueror and Firefox. I even tried to use Mozilla since it is the browser being said to work as one of the requirements to run HP Web JetAdmin, but still i cannot access the URL.
Has anyone got into this trouble?
-I need help..

what do you mean port 443? do you mean that you use port 443 instead of 8000?
-but right now i guess i don't need to use jetadmin since i find a way to print to the hp1100A direclty from the network. it is just a matter of changing the port #'s from 9100-9101 up to 9102. since the jetdirect that i have is a 3 paralle port device.
-but if i can get the the web jetadmin to work that would be very good.

A quick search didn't find any specific instructions for linux. Check your processes, is the jetadmin running? From the windows instructions its default configuration uses 8000 and 8443 as its secure port.
