Hi there,
A quick search on google gave me this. It's quite simple. You just tune some settings in iptables on your gentoo computer - add 'IP masquerading', which simply allows other computer to "hide" behind your gateway. You also have to enable IP forwarding which enables other computers to have traffic thrue your gateway. The last one is not done thrue iptables, it's simply a file you have to change. I don't know the commands from head. But "IP Masquerading HOWTO" is a good start (find in google result). It helped me a lot. Cheers, Jens |
Thnx, Another guestion. Does anyone know good Firewall software for *Nix, like PMFirewall (PM is too old). :)
