Howto share DSL Connection in Gentoo 2004.1

Hi!

I have Gentoo 2004.1 box with internal DSL Card.
Just wondering howto share that connection.
I have 5 other computer in my network. Gentoo box have LAN IP: 192.168.0.1 and IP to outside world: 80.xxx.xxx.xxx
and windoze comps 192.168.0.2-192.168.0.6. Computers are connected in LAN with 100mb/s swithc. Now i only have to know howto share IPv4&IPv6 traffic between LAN and internet.

Hi there,
A quick search on google gave me
this.

It's quite simple. You just tune some settings in iptables on your gentoo computer - add 'IP masquerading', which simply allows other computer to "hide" behind your gateway. You also have to enable IP forwarding which enables other computers to have traffic thrue your gateway. The last one is not done thrue iptables, it's simply a file you have to change.

I don't know the commands from head. But "IP Masquerading HOWTO" is a good start (find in google result). It helped me a lot.

Cheers,

Jens
