Question How will i dialup internet with a dongle from kde


I use mandriva 2006 free edition. I need to connect internet from my mobile. How do i dail-up an internet connection with my USB Bluetooth Dongle ? please help. Its possible for me to transfer files. I use BILIONTON class 1 dongle.

well i have windows driver cd with me. can that be of any use ?

You need to install the bluez package and follow their documentation to set up rfcomm to create a /dev/ttys? device you can dial with.

If you want to use GPRS you will need to search for a package that matches your phone.
