Question how to use dhcrelay?

Code:
workstation
|eth0:172.16.2.2
|
|
|
|eth1:172.16.2.1
linux gateway with IP forwarding enabled
	|eth0:172.16.1.1
	|
	|
	|eth0: 172.16.1.100
dhcp with 2 subnet boxes configured (for 172.16.1.0 and 172.16.2.0)
the DHCP server on 172.16.1.100 needs to cater to workstations in the 172.16.2.0 network. I've already set up the dhcp server; problem is I can't find a tutorial on how to use the dhcrelay command.

i used: "dhcrelay -i eth1 172.16.1.100" on the gateway server (but the return result was that it was only 'listening to the eth1" which is correct; but it needs to also forward it to it's eth0 which will reach the DHCP server.

Can anyone point me to the right direction? I've tried the dhcrelay manual and google; hardly any tutorial on how to use it.

added: using centos 5.5 on all 3 linux nodes

update on a screen shot of the dhcrelay command:

screenshot

Ok so its listening (and sending) to both eth0 and eth1 .... but I think I need it to listen to eth1 and send to eth0 which I can't find out how exactly to do it based on the man page.

on a total random guess, looking at your command line, its not `-o eth0` is it?

/me goes to read the manpage and try and figure this out.

[edit]Ah, -i is for interface...[/edit]
