How to update DHCP?

Hello,
I have DHCP server running on CentOS-5.4.
The dhcp version is 3.0.5
In the dhcpd.conf file I want to use "update-conflict-detection".
But, when I add the line as
Code:
update-conflict-detection false;
and after saving the file when I restart dhcpd, it fails.
I read somewhere that dhcp version 3.1.x supports my requirement.
Is it required to update dhcp? If yes, how can I update?

Hello!
Found this post!
Could this be an answer to your question
https://lists.isc.org/pipermail/dhcp...er/004899.html

If update-conflict-detection is true, the dhcp-server updates the dns-server with the A, PTR and TXT record.
If update-conflict-detection is false, the dhcp-server updates the dns-server with only the A and PTR record.
