How to start BSNL Broadband connection on Ubuntu Linux 10.4 lts
Hai, just i installed ubantu linux 10.4 lts , how can i connect this system to internet? I have BSNL broadband (DSL modem conn to ethernet port) modal quidway wa1003a
u should not have any problems with BSNL broadband in ubuntu 10.04 lts. U just have to plug in the rj45 jack in the port and wheeeewwww you are connected.

I assume you are not having any username and password from BSNL. Most of the time your router has DHCP Server configure which allows to lease ip to your machines. So just connect your BSNL router to Your PC. Configure linux to get IP address from DHCP Server automatically. restart your network service. And you are done.
