how to share internet connection
I have about 20 Windows 98, XP, Me, 2000 machines.
I must share the internet connection to those machines thru a RH9 linux machine which is connected to a internet gateway.
The RH9 will have 2 NICs - one for the Internet, & one for the LAN that connects all the clients.
Please list the steps involved to configure the linux machine and the windows machines.
Rgds.

A couple of rules in iptables should do the trick, of course, you'll have to set up ip masquerading(sp?) as well.
Shouldn't be too hard, especially if you have any experience setting up routing rules.
Good tutorial:

Are you going to use the RedHat machine, or will it just be routing? If you just want a router there are several Linux distros that are designed to make it easy to setup a network router. Smoothwall is one and floppyfw is another just off the top of my head. If you really want to use RedHat I suggest reading the Network Configuration in the RedHat Customization Guide.
