How to setup static IP on RH8

I am still learning how to use RedHat 8, I want to be able to use the box I have as a server. putting files on it to be viewed from the outside world. I have 3 other computers all connected to my router, these are loaded with Windows, since I have more knowledge of that OS. The Router is DI-614+ D-Link wireless. I have the windows setup with wireless cards, but the Redhat server setup through ethernet card. My Problem I am having is that I have been able to view the files on the computers networked through the router, but when going to an outside computer looking in, I can't get any files. Says page can't be displayed. Now talking to the router people, they said that I need to setup a static IP address through RedHat to the router... I know how to set that up through the router, but don't know who through Linux. Please help me with this, where do I go or what commands through the termal. Thanks for your time. RevDavis
