How to setup a PPPOE server on my machine


Hi Guys,
I am looking for an open source PPPOE server to install on my redhat 9 machine, that PPPOE server can authenticate people from a RADIUS, LDAP or PAP and CHAP files.

I googled the net but haven't found anything.

So guys if you come to know about the open source of it please help me to let me know about it

Well, thanks First,
The link you refered to is for PPPOE Client, and for me I want PPPOE Server, if you come accross my need please let me know.

sorry, I thought the pppoed was the access conentrator.

The roaring penguin pppoe has a pppoe-server with it, anyway.

Yes, I referd to their site, but unfortunately it is a comercial product and its not free open source.

I am looking for another resource that offeres the PPPOE-Server a free downloadable open source.

rp-pppoe-3.5.tar.gz contains the 'non-commercial' pppoe server, with plenty of documentation. (just follow my earlier link!!!)
