how to set up tftp service

Hi,
Can someone explain to me how to set up tftp service on Linux server?
I need to make reserve copies of my routers,so,I downloaded rpm regarding tftp and installed it into my machine.
I confirmed the /usr/bin/tftp is set up.

According to the URL which explain how to set up,I am supposed to edit /etc/xinetd.d/tftp.

Although I look for /etc/xinetd.d directory, there is no filename related tftp.
then,
type "chkconfig --list" but there is no list for tftp.

How should I do to activate tftp service and accept to upload the configration from my cisco router?
If possible, I want to use tftp through xinetd.

Thxs in advance.

Some distributions use inetd rather than xinetd.
