Hi looks like we are in the same boat....I just installed RH AS 2.1 just a week ago.I am using a Linksys wireless router with the infamous v4 card that came with it..I am going to return the card and get something that is Linux compatible and friendly.

it would appear from your ifconfig -a post that the driver for your NIC is not installed. Its hard to get layer 2 when you have no layer 1.

"Do you want me install the driver for nic Card in the Machine?"

Your NIC may work a lot better with a driver.

"if yes how can you suggest me the ways to do."

you can either find a source driver and compile it, or find an rpm and install it. You need to know what kind of NIC you have and what driver you need. An OEM website and FAQ may do you wonders.
