How to see tcp port

Hi, I have installed a slackware 10.2. I have a DHCP connection with eth0 interfaced to a home access gateway adsl ( my provider is FASTWEB). I don't know how to know if my tcp port is open and how open it if it is closed.

Thanks Cp

You should be able to either go to the ShieldsUP! website or use a tool like nmap to see if your port is open.
