How to see Apache server from outside?
Hi All,
I have installed APache web server and I have question: My ISP (verizon) gives me dynamic IP address, can my website somehow be visible from outside my local network giving somebody my IP address? (of course until it's not changed) I have DSL with one linux box and 2 with windows 2k. thanks |
if your IP address is a public IP address - yes. It can be accessed outside your LAN. inquire with your ISP to verify this.

IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 151.198.15.149
this is where you are reacable, until dhcp gives you new ip. You can make a script to check for your ip change, and when it occurs you can send signals to your friends (email, icq message..) |
