Smile How to run Global Call software installed on linux?

Hi,
I need to test out the ISDN connection to find out whether we receive the right signal from the network board. I installed the Global Call Package on the /usr/dialogic directory. But when I run command with gc_basic_call_model, I always got the message saying : command not found. I know this is an excutible file and I have permission to run it. I don't know why I am getting this message.

Your help is appreciated!
Julie

try using the command

/usr/dialogic/gc_basic_call_model

(i.e. provide the full path to the command). If that works, then you want to add /usr/dialogic into your PATH (depending on the shell that you are using, the syntax may vary slightly).

Sounds to me like you need to have root permissions to open the E1/T1 device. Are you running the command as root or a user?

Also, take a look here for some more possible hints
