How to resolve domain names using different DNSes?

Hi,

I'm using a computer that is part of a company network. This network has its own DNSes (192.168.1.x), and although they work, they are too slow to resolve Internet domain names. Thus, I have added an extenal and much faster DNS in the resolv.conf file as primary DNS. The problem I have with this is that domain names that are part of the organization aren't resolved anymore. Thus my question is:

How could I manage this situation so that if the first (external DNS) doesn't find a domain name, it leaves the second one to try it out?

I hope you can an answer for this.

Best regards!
