How to resolve Blocked port such voip ones ?

Hello am new here

i am used to use rynga and webcalldirect in windows
normally it takes 1 min to enter to my account to make call

i guess that because my isp is blocking some ports .. then these software look for new ports to sign in

so i wanna know how could i use rynga in linux

i use fedora 14.22
and ubuntu 10.10

i tried in ubuntu ekiga and i bought a credit but until now i've no idea how to make it works ...

please give me a hint .. perhaps a proxy could solve this problem ...
i tried but perhaps u could help me more

thanks in advance

If you have blocked ports you can open them easily with ufw by running the following command:
Code:
sudo ufw allow x/y
x: can be any valid port number
y: can be tcp or udp

And to enable it:

Code:
sudo ufw enable
I'm pretty sure ufw is installed by default in any Ubuntu installation. BTW, it's a easy way to have basic firewall protection in your computer.

Hope it helps!
