How to remove IPC$ password from samba
 
Dear fellows,

Hi,

I have configured samba successfully, but when i access my samba fedora core 2 machine from windows network it asked for password
.

\PPM-FAISAL\IPC$

here is password box

PPM -Faisal is a fedore core 2 machine with smb.conf configuration.

PPM-Faisal machine is already working as NIS Client.

How can i remove IPC$ , i dont want to set any password on samba.

How can i Remove password.

You Can't
 
That's the Windows Administrative Share, you can't remove it or screw with it in any way.
