how to play a file from lan


plz tell me how to play a file using gnome interface?
Should i use some software?if so, then which?

you would just connect to the remote device in whatever way you see fit and can manage. once you have connected to it and can access the filesystem, you'd play it as if it were any other file. care to shed some light on what you're actually trying to do? where is this data stored?
