how to ping my ISP


Hi
KPPP configured and details show slow moving graph but unable to connect to internet. Mandrake 9.2 control center setup configuration for modem OK No Mozilla connection
So would like to ping infogen.net.nz and find out if I realy am connected
Look forward to haveing linux internet working once more.

If you could send your output of
ifconfig
netstat -rn

and your /etc/resolv.conf file, which is used to tell what DNS nameservers to use.

From this we should be able to see if things are setup ok or not.
