how to make a VPN connection with pap authentication

Hi,

I want to make a connection to my server in German it has a pap authentication just. in windows I go to security tab and advance setting then I set to allow protocol and select the pap this is the things that i need just to do in windows. But in ubuntu when I use the network-manager-pptp program or PPTP I can not do anything to connect. Could anyone help me please
