how to install pop server


i have configured sendmail on my pc and working fine but enable to configure pop server and evolution mail client when i configured evolution is is giving error "error in fetching mail from 192.168.0.254" 254 is my server for sendmail.

can anybody helm me plz.

There are various pop servers around. I use dovecot (actually for imap, but it does pop as well) and it's a breeze to set up.
