How to install an ip-masking proxy...

So, I want to build up a Linux proxy server, that will allow people to pass by it to connect to p2p networks without being identified ....
How could I build one please?

(Btw I need an OpenSource solution).

Do you mean something like Tor http://tor.freehaven.net/ ?
