How to insert the modules in apache

I have installed apache-1.3.33 on my linux 7.0
with gcc-2.2.16-20.

But while accessing the apache web server from
the client in the LAN it is giving foolwing error
"The requested URL could not be retrieved"

I have also modified the cnfiguration file of
apache (httpd.conf) and started the service.

Whether any modules are needed for apache. If yes,
then also tell me how to add those modules.

Please help me to solve this problem.
