Question How to have passive mode off by default in wu-ftpd


hi all,

i am having trouble with my wu-ftp server. when any user connects, it works fine until she types "ls" or "dir" and it gives a passive mode error. how can i set passive mode off by default on my server ?

Also, how do i change/edit the messages that are given by the server during a transaction ? Please help
