How to generate report with user id's in SARG

Hi ,

I'm running Squid on RHEL ES 3. I'm using SARG + Webmin for monitoring the internet activities of users. The users in our company log on to our windows 2000 Domain Controller and the Linux box acts as the proxy server for them. IP addresses are assigned to them via a DHCP server .Right now I'm able to generate the report with the IP address of the systems accessing internet . But I want it to be with the name of the user who has loged into the Windows AD and accessing internet. Is it possible to generate report that way? Mapping user id's to ip addresses is not possible because the ip changes frequently. Please give me a solution .

You would need to implement authentication with Squid to do that.

create a fil which contains usernames against user-id's.selct the usertab option in sarg.conf and specify the path of th above said file.you will gt the reports with usernames.
