how to fix qualcomm atheros QCA6174 on aircrack-ng modem mode.

1at sorry for my bad english.
Since my last 11 days in reserching i guess the problem is the firmware/driver.
let's explain from the beginning,i'm using kali linux and wifi is working well, when i try to scan the nears AP with aircrack

airodump-ng wlan0mon
no matter how much i wait, there's no ap he founds.
just like i said i think the problem is the firmware/driver setup, can someone please help me with this ? I tried a lot and i don't know what more can i do.

Found a possible solution
Hello there - I was speaking with an old friend of mine, and he gave me some instructions on how he fixed it on my computer.

Although I'm not very good at english, so I cant translate it for you, but I can give you the instructions in danish, and hope that google translate will translate it correctly...


Here is the txt he made:

Normalt wifi virker ikke når raw_mode er slået til - Slå den fra inden du forsøger
at forbinde til et normalt wifi

Det gøres ved at starte

sudo modprobe -r ath10k_pci
sudo modprobe -r ath10k_core
sudo modprobe ath10k_core rawmode=0 cryptmode=0
sudo modprobe ath10k_pci


Step 1.

Downloadede https://github.com/kvalo/ath10k-firm...4.4.1.c3-00059

OBS GÅ TIL STEP 2 FØRST DA MODULERNE SKAL VÆRE STOPPET FØR VI ERSTATER FILEN
//Det er også en god ide at kopiere den originale fil til firmware-6.bin.orig

og erstatede /lib/firmware/ath10k/QCA6174/hw3.0/firmware-6.bin med den downloadede fil
Step 2.
Dette tillader raw mode at blive brugt ved at stoppe network-manager med

sudo service network-manager stop

og stoppe ath10k_core og ath10k_pci modulerene med

sudo modprobe -r ath10k_pci
sudo modprobe -r ath10k_core
Step 3.
Derefter genstarter vi ath10k_core med rawmode slået til

sudo modprobe ath10k_core rawmode=1 cryptmode=1
sudo modprobe ath10k_pci
